Litostroj Ravne has a long tradition – starting the operation in 1620.

The important milestones:

2010
New global projects– LIV Postojna, Gorenje, Bonatrans, PSA, a new corporate identity.

2009
New company name - »Litostroj Ravne, d.o.o«.

2008
STROJI became member of the Litostroj Group.

2005
Start of renewal of cooperation with former Soviet Union country, Belarus.

2003
Start of marketing in Iran, became a supplier for company Arcelor.

1990–2004
More than sixty (60) large presses for USA, Canada and Mexico. More than seventy (70) large and small presses for European customers.

1984
Construction of the first press for the United States of America.

1980–1981
More than fifty (50) presses constructed for »Crvena zastava« - Serbia.

1972–1977
Several hundred presses constructed for former U.S.S.R. Construction of the first press for Revoz Novo mesto - Slovenia.

1970–1971
Cooperation with German enterprise Weingarten. Construction of the first press for exports, AUDI Germany.

1965
Construction of the first press for SIP Sempeter (Slovenia).

1945-1953
The ancient Guštanj changed its name into Ravne na Koroškem and became a town, the factory was now named the »Ravne Steelworks«.

1807 - 1940
The steelworks entered into the Maribor commercial register as a Slovenian Steelworks of the Count Jurij Von Thurn in Guštanj.

1620
Beginning of steelmaking at Guštanj (Ravne).
